ARTIST STATEMENT:

Yvonne Lamar Rogers is a mixed media artist working in collage, printmaking, sculpture, drawing, painting and artist books. Her work incorporates layered narratives and textures, both actual and implied, to evoke both personal and collective memories.

Bio:

Yvonne founded and co-curates the annual "Women Celebrate Women," An all-inclusive art exhibition that honors Women's History Month. It's an exhibition that invites New York based women artists from diverse backgrounds and generations to submit work that embodies the celebratory theme of the exhibition. 2025 celebrated the fifth installation featuring over 80 talented New York Area women.
