ARTIST STATEMENT:
Natalia Koren Kropf's artwork is rooted in respect for both nature and humanity. Most often expressed in abstract form. Recently, Kropf has been focusing on philosophical ideas, such as the unity of opposites, the dynamics of harmony, the depth of spacetime, and embodying them in sculpture, painting, and work on paper. She incorporates environmentally friendly and non-toxic materials in her 2 D and 3 D works. Believing in the interconnectedness of all things, her work links the qualities of natural elements with cultural symbols drawing visual parallels with interwoven trajectories.
Bio:
Natalia Koren Kropf is a contemporary award-winning artist, based in New York, specializing in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Natalia was born in St.Petersburg, Russia, into a family of artists. She graduated from the Loganson School of Fine Arts at the National Fine Arts Academy. Kropf also studied at Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts and the Arts Students League in New York City.

Kropf is a signature artist member and an executive board member of the National Association of Women Artists, where she served as President in 2019 - 2021. She is also an elected member of the Allied Artists of America, Art Students League of New York, Monotype Guild of New England, Center for Contemporary Printmaking and the Print Club of New York.
